Nice fishing day, overcast and mild. We struggled on beat 2 with just 1 grilse for a lot of hard work, but we did see a good run of fish come past. They obviously stopped in beat 3 (ravens Rock) because Cecil D managed 5 and Eric W 2
With 4 fish from beat 3 last evening and 6 fish from beat 4 for eric & Cecil, we finished up with 46 fish for our 4 days with 4 rods and I think John R must have fot at least 15 for his three days and 4 rods.
With good numbers of big chunky fish amongst them we all agreed the fishing was excellent! Full report and pics when I get back to the office on Wednesday.
