ICELAND update 29th July 2016

East Ranga nice and clear but bright sun and strong winds not helping our cause. None the less the river is giving us some good sport with 5 fish for our first session last evening including a couple of 12 pounders and a magnificent 17 pounder for Eric W. This morning we have had 10 fish, 5 for John R and his 2 rods and 5 for my 4 rods with another 5.5 kilo fish. In view of the fact we are again stuck on the upper river (beats 8&9) and moving only one beat at a time I don’t think this is too bad a start at all.
