Feb 1st and Tweed opened yesterday with 12 fish reported throughout the system. These reports do not of course differentiate between winter fish or new springers but nevertheless an encouraging start.

At Caberston John Miller, Charlie Miller (No not his dad though old enough!) and Steve toasted the river as tradition requires and had a cast, but nothing to report.

Think Steve could do with a new hat though!
