SALMON FISHING
It is 25 years since my first trip to the Ranga in 1994! So for 2019 I have planned a reunion trip to the Ranga.
Yes I know it is ridiculously expensive, but none of us are getting any younger and we cannot take it with us!
As a reminder of how good this trip can be…
Fishing just three days in August 2012 we got 51 fish for 6 rods, in 2013, 67 fish for 6 rods, 49 fish for 4 rods in 2014 and 80 fish for 6 rods in 2015. July is not quite as productive as August as the Grilse tend to come later, but it is the time the bigger fish com in.
The Itinerary is: 8th July Fly out to Reykjavic in the early morning and Laxa will collect us and take us to the East Ranga Lodge.
4 – 10pm fishing, followed by 2 more full days and then a final morning on the East Ranga.
we then collect our fish and return via Reykjavic and out to the Keflavic BB Hotel before flying back the following morning.
The cost of this package in 2019 is £3,975 Not included: International flights, accommodation in Keflavic, cost of smoking your fish, drinks or guides tips etc.
