Suitable for 12-14ft rods rated for line sizes 9/10.

A short head version of our best-selling Salmon Twin Line, ideal both for novices learning to Spey cast and also for small rivers and pools where there is little room to develop a big loop.  These lines are also similar to casting a shooting head but have the advantage of a knotless connection to the rear running line.  With a super-strong, low-stretch braided core and made exclusively for me in the UK, this is a truly remarkable piece of kit.

Quite simply, the easiest lines to Spey cast in the world today ..and terrific for overhead casting too!

ArrowHead Salmon Twin-Lines 10/11

Suitable for rods of 14-16 ft rated for line sizes 10/11.

A full fly line, tapered like an aerodynamic shooting-head with a thin running line, and designed specifically for Spey casting. The flight of the Twin-Line through the air is better and the turnover sweeter -with less tendency to bunching- than with a conventional shooting head. Unlike a conventional shooting head, Twin-Lines have a graduated rear taper that allows the caster to adjust the amount of line used in the loop of the Spey cast. This, in turn, allows you to adjust the overall casting weight of line outside the tip ring to suit you and your rod, without the need for different line sizes. The colour change between the floating running line and belly section makes it easy to replicate the ideal length of line every time. On the sinking models, only the head section sinks. This gives much better depth control and scope for mending - something which cannot be done with a line that sinks throughout its length.

ArrowHead Maxi Salmon Twin-Lines 11/12

Suitable for rods of 15-18 ft rated for line sizes 11/12.

New for 2008 A long distance version of the now world renowned Arrowhead Salmon Twin-lines. Like the 10/11 version but a much heavier and slightly longer head, tapered like an aerodynamic shooting-head with a longer running line behind it. Designed specifically for Spey casting long distances. The flight of this Twin-Line, like the others, through the air is better with less tendency to bunch than with a conventional shooting head. Maxi Twin-Lines also have the graduated rear taper that allows the caster to adjust the amount of line used in the loop of the Spey cast. This allows adjustment of the casting weight to exactly suit you and your rod, The colour change between the floating running line and belly section makes it easy to replicate the ideal length of line every time. On the sinking models, only the head section sinks. This gives much better depth control and scope for mending - something which cannot be done with a line that sinks throughout its length.
