Water is 4″ on Peebles gauge, it has not moved significantly since the beginning of October when they had a 2′ 6″ lift for one day.
Promising rain belts have swept the country but all have missed the borders and despite encouraging rain as we came over the top on the A7 on the drive up, the Crook Inn gauge has not moved an inch.
With no serious rain forecast it looks like being a pretty dull week. But hey ho. The borders are lovely at this time of year and we could be stuck in the office.
