River down to 3′ 1″ on the Caputh gauge over night, then rose a little during the day as the sun melted snow off the hills, but it remained gin clear and as I have said many times, bright sun and clear water at whatever level does not help.
So, despite lots of good effort in very pleasant teaching and fishing conditions we saw nothing nor touched anything.
