Water 2’3 on Caputh gauge (3′ on Dalmarnock gauge) overcast and cold upstream wind.
Cecil saw a fish in the Summerhouse pool in the morning so we went over to try it from the right bank in the afternoon and I was lucky enough to land a cracking bar of silver – a hen of about 12lbs fresh as paint.
Nothing else to report for the day.
Last morning tomorrow before heading south. Full update when I get back.
