2′ 7″ on the Caputh gauge (3’6″ on Colins gauge) and running clear with a nice mild overcast day and the odd shower. Perfect conditions for fishing but not a good height for the beat. At this middle height the fish tend to run through without stopping.
Anyway, it would have been encouraging to at least see running fish but none of us saw anything or touched anything all day.
