We arrived with the water level at 3″ 7′ up from 2″2′ the previous day which was not an ideal height for Murthley but never the less Cecil D. got a 7 pounder from Sparrowmuir, Graham M. got a 10 pounder from the left bank of the Garth and two more fish were lost. On the upper water Chris E. got a 10 pound fish from the Burn. All the fish were sea-liced and taken within an hour of each other.
Yesterday (April 8th) the water was up again to 3″8′ after a water release from the dam and we only had one encounter a fish lost from the right bank of the Tronach.
Water down 6′ today so hopefully we might be back in action!
