My “Dredger” Multi-tip salmon lines are available either in full line version – no join between running line and casting head – and a shooting head version with separate running line and head. Both have loops at the front end to take 14 or 15ft tips purchased separately. The full line version is also available with a hi density head to really get the fly down in heavy or cold water. PURCHASE DREDGER TIPS SEPARATELY PLEASE!

My go-to line combination for most salmon rivers. Distance and depth with ease.

Note: As an incentive to reduce waste and plastics, I now offer my lines with or without the spool and box at a discount and post free. Remember though, without the spool you will need to uncoil the line off a rolled up magazine or loo roll cardboard tube to avoid twist!

Description

My ArrowHead “Dredger” Multi-tip Salmon Lines.

I currently do two versions: The ArrowHead Dredger Twin-Line: A seamless, shooting-head profile, but made like conventional ArrowHead fly-line, using the twin color, twin density idea I pioneered in the mid 90s and with no loop to loop connection between the running line and the head. Available either with a floating head or hi density sinking head.

And, The Dredger Shooting-Head: A true shooting head version with separate rear running line and head, joined with loops.

Both versions are looped at the front end and balanced to take 14 and 15ft tapered tips, Floating, Clear Intermediate, Sink Rate 3 and sink rate 7.

As ever the Dredgers are balanced to Spey Cast easily and fly through the air without bunching. They will also turn over heavy tips effortlessly.
