Murthly Castle, Tay 5th April2024

Lower Water: River 2ft all day. Heavy snow which settled then turned to rain later in the morning driven by our usual east wind – Joy.

Nothing seen all morning then at about 3pm Cecil D got a fresh fish of 8lbs in the boat on a Kynoch. I saw another in the tail of the spruces 5 minutes later but it was stopping for no one.

Last chance saloon tomorrow, but storm Kathleen is on its way and we are due heavy rain all night – more joy.
