Murthly on Tay 7th April 2017

Donald’s comment on the conditions: “If you arrived to fish at this time of year and got these conditions you would think you had won the lottery!” Water 1ft 1ins on Tony’s gauge, 45 degrees, mild and slight cloud, light breeze. So we fished furiously all day for not so much as a pull… until late in the day Chris E goes out in Tony’s boat and in the tail of Willie’s Hole which has been fished hard all day and gets an absolute belter, a 17lb springer covered in sea-lice. Strange game this.

I am off tomorrow so Saturdays result will be posted on Sunday at some point.
