Season Opens and Corvid 19

Firstly, I hope you are all safe and well in these difficult times.

Well at least we managed to get the trout season underway here at the farm, with the first fish of the season to John P.

Mild conditions and astonishingly clear water, given all the rain recently and a good hatch of midge, gave us an ideal day.

With regards my Scottish Courses: I spoke to the Royal Dunkeld Hotel yesterday and they remain open and hope to continue to be so. There have been no reported cases of Corvid 19 in the area. On the basis that we are usually the only people there in early April and we are probably safer on a river bank than almost anywhere else, I still intend to hold the courses as scheduled unless we are refused permission to travel or the hotel is closed. Obviously I cannot advise anyone booked on, whether to come or not but I very much hope everyone can. Time away on a river is the tonic I most certainly need!
