Warm and overcast, perfect conditions – even with a minor interruption of a little light rain during the middle of the day.
Ron Ransley and his team of regulars enjoyed the very best of the fishing I have at the farm. Mayfly dancing on the lawns outside the hut and trout hurling themselves at the well presented Green Drake (the Dun immitation) or the purple Spinner. 7 rods – over 60 fish caught with many returned and most taken right off the top. It really doesn`t get any better.
