Sadly the river rose to 2ft 6ins overnight and was pretty colored for most of the morning dropping back to 2ft 1ins by close of play. A few plucks and pulls and a fish lost in Black Strand but otherwise we drew a blank. Tough going above 1ft 6ins on Fairnilee but it could fall back for the others tomorrow. But where else could you enjoy a view like this when fishing?
I am off to Elibank in the morning.
